Dear Robla Community,
It's hard to believe the holiday season is already here! As we approach our November break and embrace the spirit of gratitude this Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express how deeply thankful I am to be part of a community that fully supports our students, staff, and schools. Your partnership and dedication to highlighting the importance of attendance make a tremendous difference in our ability to offer students outstanding learning experiences. Moreover, your support helps your children build meaningful connections with their peers and teachers, creating a strong foundation for their future success—both academically and professionally. I truly appreciate your involvement in a wide range of district and school events, from Parent Empowerment Dinners and Harvest Festivals to movie nights and book fairs. Your participation is invaluable and truly makes a positive impact. Thank you for all you do!
Congratulations to Robla Elementary for being our first Attendance Challenge winner! Our next Attendance Challenge will kick off on Monday, December 2nd, when we return from Thanksgiving break.
I know that during this season, it's common for children to have sniffles, coughs, or other mild illnesses, and it can sometimes be difficult to decide whether to send your child to school. To help with this, our Health Services team has put together the Robla School District's Health Guidance for school attendance, which you can access here: https://bit.ly/RoblaHealthGuidance. We hope this resource will help make those decisions a little easier!
Just a reminder, our district is applying for the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) grant, and your input is incredibly important. If you haven't already, please take a few minutes to complete the survey. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RoblaCSFamilySurvey
Thank you to everyone who has already shared their feedback!
Wishing each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving! I look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday, December 2nd. Enjoy the holiday!
Warm regards,
Eileen Aguba Chen
Superintendent, Robla School District
